Our model of behaviour change relies on awareness of the need to change accompanied with the specific knowledge on how to change. In order to achieve greatness in anything you do, you have to embrace the principle of practice.
It is not always easy. There will be moments of discomfort and self-critique as you start to notice your imperfections. While you review your meetings, you will become more aware of what you say, your body language, expressions and the way you connect with the people you speak to.
We offer you a private and secure environment to hone your skills, allowing repetition and flexibility in your schedule. This practice space is responsive to real-life scenarios, enabling you to learn at your own pace.
How to use the practice feature?
- Find a moment in the transcript or Moments tab you would like to practice on. Click on the "Practice now" icon.
- Press play to start practicing.
- You will see the meeting video with the other user’s recording and your live video
- Video starts rolling at the other user’s preceding speech bubble
- You will see when the recording will start ("We'll record your reply in xx seconds")
- Playback stops at the end of their speech bubble and alerts you that you are being recorded
- You can now practice what you could’ve said
- When you are done, press "stop".
- You can rewatch the practice, save it, or create another one.
Reviewing and sharing the practices
You can rewatch all of your practices in the Practices tab found below the meeting video. Simply click on the Play button next to the practice you would like to rewatch.
If you would like to add a comment on the practice you have done, you can do it by entering a comment in the comment pop-up and then clicking "send".
The comment can also be edited or deleted by hovering above the one you would like to modify and choosing the edit/delete button.
If you have more than one practice for the same moment, it will show you the number of them in the transcript.
