Step 1: Select the right plan for you and your guests

To use Ovida to observe, mentor or supervise, you must have a Pro account. To give you the maximum opportunity to see of Ovida is right for you, our Pro account has a 28-day free trial period.

The users you are supporting must have a Grow or Pro subscription to Ovida. This allows them both to host meetings with their guests, and to share the meetings and their dashboard with you.

The users (hosts) you observe will invite their guests to meetings. These guests get a free Guest subscription to Ovida when they are invited by this user (called Host). This plan allows them to login and join a meeting securely, and gives them visibility to and control over their data.

Step 2: Set up meetings and dashboard access

Only a host can share access to meetings and dashboards. The user (host) you are supporting will need to explicitly grant you this access.

Step 3: Selecting the right meeting mode

When observing, it is essential that the right meeting mode is selected.

This mode determines which of the shared users on a meeting (host, observers, guest) can view the moments and associated comments that are created.

Only a host can change a meeting's mode.

If you are observing a host and the guest should not see the feedback that is given, the host must select Review mode.

If you are observing a host and want the guest to see the feedback (often used in coach training) the host should use Train mode.

You can read more about meeting modes here.
